How we handle your personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. Data controller

The data controller is Carlo Ernesto Bagnolo, Piazza Piemonte 5, 07046 Porto Torres (SS), Italy, VAT/Tax ID VAT 03060980905. For any privacy question you can write to info@carloitaliancoach.com.

2. What data we collect

• Registration and contact data: name, e-mail address (for magic-link login and lesson communications).
• Billing and payment data: name, address and card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. Full card data never passes through or is stored on our systems.
• Subscription and lesson data: chosen package, lesson credit, bookings and cancellations.
• Technical data: a session cookie required to keep you logged in; technical server logs.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Providing the service (account, subscription, bookings) — performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Payments and invoicing — performance of the contract and legal obligations (Art. 6.1.b and 6.1.c).
• Service communications (confirmations, reminders) — performance of the contract.
• Security and abuse prevention — legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f).

4. Who receives your data

We share data only with providers necessary to run the service, acting as data processors:

• Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. — payment and subscription processing.
• Metanet AG — website and database hosting.
• E-mail provider — sending service messages (Metanet AG).

We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Transfers outside the EU

Some providers (e.g. Stripe) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or other adequate safeguards.

6. Retention

We keep your data for as long as needed to provide the service and thereafter for the periods required by accounting and tax obligations (in Italy usually 10 years for tax documents). Data no longer needed is deleted.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and to data portability. You can exercise these rights by writing to info@carloitaliancoach.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or your local supervisory authority.

8. Cookies

We use a single technical session cookie, strictly necessary to keep you logged in to your account. We do not use profiling or marketing cookies. As it is strictly necessary, no consent is required for this cookie.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its last-updated date.
