The terms that govern buying subscriptions and booking lessons.

The service is provided by Carlo Ernesto Bagnolo, Piazza Piemonte 5, 07046 Porto Torres (SS), Italy, VAT/Tax ID VAT 03060980905, e-mail info@carloitaliancoach.com ("the Coach"). The purchasing user is referred to as "the Student".
The Coach provides one-to-one online Italian lessons by video call. Each lesson lasts 50 minutes. Lessons are purchased through monthly subscriptions that grant a lesson credit.
Prices are in Euro and include any applicable taxes. The price shown at the time of purchase applies; under the launch offer the price per lesson is €20; this price remains valid for an existing subscription for as long as it runs without interruption.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. The subscription renews automatically each month: the amount is charged monthly to the same payment method until you cancel. At each renewal, the lesson credit is reset according to the chosen package.
Under EU consumer law and the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), a consumer Student has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of signing up, without giving any reason, by writing to info@carloitaliancoach.com.
Consent to immediate performance: at checkout the Student accepts these Terms via a required checkbox and expressly requests that the service starts before the withdrawal period expires (art. 51(8) and artt. 59 ff. of the Italian Consumer Code).
Services already used: if the Student expressly asks for lessons to begin during the withdrawal period, they must pay an amount proportionate to the lessons already delivered. If the service is fully performed within the 14 days with the Student's consent, the right of withdrawal is lost for the completed services.
The Student can cancel the subscription at any time from their account, via the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period already paid: until then, access and any remaining credit stay available. No refunds are given for periods already billed, except as provided by the right of withdrawal.
The Student agrees to provide accurate details, keep their login secure, and attend booked lessons on time with a suitable connection.
The Coach delivers the service with professional diligence but does not guarantee specific learning outcomes. The Coach is not liable for interruptions caused by technical issues beyond its control; where a lesson cannot take place, it will be rescheduled or the credit returned.
The contract is governed by Italian law. For consumers, the competent court is that of the Student's place of residence or domicile where located in Italy; for EU consumers, the mandatory protections of EU law continue to apply.
